Company Description

Norbury Dental Practice is a patient-focused dental clinic serving the community in and around Norbury with a range of general and preventive dental services. Role Description

The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive general dental care to a broad patient base, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of routine and restorative procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining clear clinical notes

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Norbury, requiring consistent availability during practice hours and active participation in the practice’s clinical and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Professional dental qualification (e.g., BDS or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant dental regulatory body (such as the GDC) in good standing.
  • Demonstrated competence in general dental procedures, including routine examinations, restorative dentistry, extractions, and basic endodontics.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment plans and preventive advice in accessible terms.
  • Knowledge of current clinical guidelines, infection prevention and control protocols, and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards in dentistry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, collaborating with dental nurses, hygienists, and administrative staff to support efficient practice operations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail in clinical record-keeping, and reliability in managing appointment schedules and follow-ups.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, with interest in expanding skills in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative techniques, or special patient groups.
  • Previous experience in UK primary care dental settings or similar practice environments is advantageous but not strictly required.
