Role Description
This is an on-site Associate Dentist role based in Mountain Ash, offered on a contract basis. The Associate Dentist will provide routine and complex dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and patient education. The Associate Dentist is expected to uphold professional standards, follow regulatory guidelines, and participate in practice-wide initiatives to improve patient experience.
Qualifications
- GDC registration with NHS performa number
- Relevant dental degree from an accredited institution and current professional registration/licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a dentist
- Demonstrated experience in general dentistry, including routine examinations, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic emergency dental management
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust with a diverse patient population
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and support staff
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage patient schedules and clinical documentation efficiently
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, training, and continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills

Previous experience in a community-focused or high-volume dental practice is an advantage but not required.
