About The Team

Our Mid- Market Accounting and Outsourcing team are highly skilled and experienced advisors, who work with domestic and international businesses to deliver flexible, scalable and sustainable finance solutions. We partner with market leading accounting technology provider to offer a full outsourced finance function, or we work on our client’s own platforms, collaboratively with their team to provide a hybrid solution. Our successful team of more than 300 professionals is rapidly growing across all areas including financial outsourcing, financial reporting, payroll and company secretarial.

About The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual operating at management level to play a key role in developing and delivering our financial outsourcing offering. You'll inspire and lead the team, oversee day to day delivery, drive business development and ensure exceptional client outcomes.

  • Inspire, lead and coach the local team to deliver excellent levels of client service and build a team for the future.
  • Develop the business, identifying opportunities to win work and work with potential clients to understand their requirements. Liaise with other departments to ensure a joined up go to market approach.
  • Manage a client portfolio and ensure the provision of a quality outsourced finance function, maintaining a client centric approach. Build strong and enduring relationships with key clients.
  • Delight clients through the provision of high quality, insightful management reporting and advisory solutions.
  • Drive gross margin profitability and enhance team productivity through streamlining and enhancement of processes and use of technology.
  • Review the work produced by the team to ensure it is high quality, that the team have a good commercial understanding of the business and that reporting is insightful to clients.
  • Provision of on demand fractional FC/FD services, utilising our internal suite of solutions.
  • Actively support the adoption of new software for our clients and ensure effective implementation to enhance team productivity.
  • To embrace technological change in the accounting space and ensure these are embedded in our portfolio of client solutions.

What We Are Looking For

  • ACA, FCCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong accounting technical skills
  • Passionate about technology, with a forward-thinking and curious approach to innovation.
  • Experience working with domestic and international businesses and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Proven expertise in management accounts preparation, financial statements, and team leadership.
  • Experience across multiple ERP solutions – Sage Intacct, Iplicit, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP (advantageous)
  • Strong data analysis and manipulation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to develop business and secure new opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
