Associate Director – Financial Due Diligence

Leeds or Manchester | £85,000–£95,000 + Benefits

We are working with a leading UK professional services and advisory firm to appoint Associate Directors into its Financial Due Diligence practice across both Leeds and Manchester.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence professional to step into a senior, highly visible position within an established deals team. Importantly, this is not an origination-first role.

While you will naturally develop senior client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice, the immediate requirement is for technically strong, commercially minded individuals who enjoy executing transactions, leading engagements and advising clients through the deal process.

The role

At Associate Director level, you will take significant ownership of Financial Due Diligence assignments, working closely with Partners and Directors while leading teams through the delivery of transactions. Your responsibilities will include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
