Connect to your Industry

Join our high-growth SAP+ Design & Innovation team at the forefront of how organisations harness cutting-edge AI to transform their SAP landscapes. Operating on a forward-deployed model, we work hands-on with the latest agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise context engineering - embedding intelligent agents directly into clients' core business processes to unlock new value, streamline complex operations, and accelerate their transformation journeys.

While our team sits within SAP consulting, we lead innovation solution design across the firm, and our work increasingly draws demand from other business lines and industries. As a senior leader in the team, you'll shape solutions that reach well beyond the SAP ecosystem, positioning you at the centre of the firm's broader AI innovation agenda. If you are an experienced technology leader with deep hands-on expertise in AI engineering - someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, shaping client relationships at senior levels, and taking intelligent solutions from prototype to production - this role offers the opportunity to define how enterprise AI is delivered, with clear progression towards Director and Partner.

Connect to your career at Deloitte

Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, we help our clients' become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Connect to your opportunity

As a Senior Manager or Associate Director in SAP+ Design & Innovation, you'll play a defining role in how organisations harness AI agents and intelligent automation to augment their SAP transformations - guiding them from manual, fragmented processes to streamlined, AI-powered ways of working.

This role gives you a genuine leadership platform. Operating on a forward-deployed model that keeps you close to work, you will:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI agent solutions across engagements - from discovery and rapid prototyping through to production deployment and go-live.
  • Architect, build, and deploy production-grade AI agent systems, leveraging modern agent SDKs and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK).
  • Design agentic workflows with tool use, agent skill, MCP-based integrations, memory and state management, multi-agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls for enterprise-safe autonomy.
  • Lead enterprise context engineering: connecting agents to SAP and non-SAP systems of record, designing knowledge retrieval and grounding strategies, and managing context across long-running tasks.
  • Establish evaluation, observability, and monitoring practices for agent systems - defining eval suites, tracing, and quality gates that make agent behaviour measurable and production-ready.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping AI strategy, architecture decisions, and the roadmap from proof-of-value to scaled adoption.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow multi-disciplinary engineering teams - setting technical direction, raising the bar on engineering standards, and developing the next generation of AI talent.
  • Contribute to the growth of the SAP+ Design & Innovation practice: developing reusable assets and accelerators, supporting business development and proposals, and representing the team across the firm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Above all, you'll be supported to build a leadership career, not just deliver projects - whether that's establishing yourself as a firm-wide authority in AI engineering, growing a team and capability around you, or progressing towards Director and beyond.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

We're looking for leaders who are motivated by building innovative AI solutions and who care just as much about developing others as delivering for clients. What matters most is how you lead teams, build trusted client relationships, and help organisations move forward with confidence through complex technical changes.

Essentials:

  • Deep hands-on expertise in AI engineering and modern software delivery, including building and deploying LLM-based or agentic systems into production environments.
  • Strong full-stack technical foundations across Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, and modern engineering practices, with the credibility to set technical direction for engineering teams.
  • A track record of leading delivery teams and owning outcomes on complex technology programmes.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders on technology strategy, architecture decisions, and adoption road maps.
  • Proven ability to mentor and grow engineers and consultants.

Desirables:

  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK), MCP-based integrations, or multi-agent architectures.
  • Familiarity with evaluation and observability tooling for LLM systems (e.g., LangSmith).
  • Exposure to SAP or large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
  • Experience contributing to practice growth: proposals, business development, or capability building.
  • Advocacy of AI-native engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) within team workflows.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
