Senior to Associate Director Building Surveyor – Building Surveying | Fire Specialist

Bristol / Cardiff | Hybrid

I’m currently working on an exciting senior opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor who has specialised in fire safety to take a leading role in growing a specialist Building Surveyor team offering across the South West & Wales.

The opportunity:

  • Lead and grow a regional Fire & Building Surveying consultancy service
  • Provide technical leadership across fire safety, compliance and remediation projects
  • Advise major clients across healthcare, education, residential, defence, commercial, infrastructure and public sector
  • Develop senior client relationships and lead bids, tenders and business development
  • Build, mentor and develop a high-performing specialist team
  • Oversee project delivery, commercial performance and resource management
  • Have genuine influence over the regional strategy and growth of the service

We're looking for:

  • Strong experience in Building Surveying/Fire Safety consultancy
  • Hands on experience in dilaps, TDD's, Contract Admin/PM
  • Technical knowledge of fire risk, Building Regulations, passive fire protection and compliance
  • Experience leading complex projects and managing senior clients
  • Strong commercial and business development ability
  • Relevant professional qualification/accreditation such as MRICS, MIFSM or IFE
  • Fire Risk Assessor qualification
  • Building Safety Act / Principal Designer and fire remediation experience would be advantageous
