Associate Director : Civil Engineering

Location: Nottingham

Salary: GBP70,000 : GBP80,000

Ready to take control of a Civils business rather than simply take another step up the corporate ladder? This Nottingham opportunity offers genuine leadership of an established Civils function, with the freedom to influence its technical direction, clients, team and future growth.

The Opportunity

An established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an Associate Director : Civil Engineering to take responsibility for its Civils business.

This is a hands-on leadership position rather than a purely managerial role. You will remain close to development infrastructure projects while becoming the senior figure responsible for technical delivery, clients, workload and the development of the team.

For the right Associate Director, there is genuine scope to make the Civils function your own and influence where the business goes next.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
