  • Conduct company, country, and industry research, including benchmarking and competitive analysis across relevant Clean Tech & Environment subsectors.
  • Support due diligence processes and the preparation of marketing and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate transaction workstreams and engagement with internal teams, clients, and external advisers.
  • Work with colleagues across the Bank’s global M&A network to support transaction delivery.

Qualifications

  • Sector exposure across power, utilities, infrastructure, or clean technology, including renewables and energy storage, conventional power generation, transmission and distribution, waste management, water, energy efficiency, e-mobility, or the circular economy.
  • Experience supporting transactions through financial modelling, valuation, research, due diligence, and the preparation of client-facing and transaction materials.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowledge of an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P Capital IQ, or Mergermarket is considered a plus.
  • CFA qualification is preferred.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
