Leading your Church into Growth is a Christian organisation that equips church leaders and congregations to grow in number, spiritual depth, and service to their local communities. For over 30 years, the organisation has supported local churches across the country through residential conferences, training days, and tailored resources. It also partners with dioceses to help them design and deliver their own church growth programs. Leading your Church into Growth serves a wide range of traditions and contexts, including Catholic, Charismatic, Evangelical, Liberal, rural, urban, large, and small churches, offering practical tools for sustainable growth.

Role Description

To work closely with the National Director to continue LyCiG’s transition into a robust and sustainable charity whilst maintaining the DNA that is at its heart. To play a key role in the successful delivery of the "Step Up and Scale Up" strategy, with particular responsibility for implementing an effective Communications strategy, developing LyCiG resources and helping secure further income streams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the National Director in setting the vision and direction for LyCiG, and ensure its delivery by working closely with the Trustees, the Staff Team and the Volunteer Team.

  • Build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders, including SMMIB, Church of England diocesan teams and LyCiG partner organisations.

  • Contribute to the delivery of a rich and engaging annual programme of Conferences, follow-on events and other experiences that meets the "Step Up and Scale Up" vision and doubles the impact of LyCiG throughout the Church of England.

  • Oversee the development and delivery of an effective communications strategy that supports the transformation of LyCiG into a sustainable charity.

  • Develop LyCiG resources and income streams for a sustainable future.
