Lead the consenting strategy behind some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. An established organisation is looking to appoint an Associate Director to provide strategic leadership across complex infrastructure and regeneration programmes. Working alongside clients and multidisciplinary teams, you'll lead consent strategies from planning through to construction, helping to deliver nationally significant projects while supporting the growth of an expanding service offering.
Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide strategic leadership across the full consent lifecycle, ensuring projects move efficiently from planning through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex consent programmes across major infrastructure projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, environmental specialists, legal advisors, and land professionals.
- Develop and oversee consent strategies, programmes, and governance.
- Integrate consent requirements into design, procurement, and construction activities.
- Manage post-consent implementation, compliance, and condition discharge.
- Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business growth and service development.
- Mentor and develop project teams while driving best practice across the business.

We're Looking For
- Significant project leadership experience within infrastructure, utilities, or the built environment.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of DCOs, TWAOs, or other major planning consent regimes.
- Commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
