Associate Director - Corporate Sales

MW Recruitment is working with a leading international bank seeking an Associate Director to join its Corporate Sales team.

The role will focus on building a regional pipeline of corporate sales opportunities, winning new client relationships and increasing product penetration across existing clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship Managers and colleagues across Markets, Payments and Trade Finance, taking opportunities from initial identification through onboarding and relationship handover.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities based on corporate client needs
  • Win new client relationships and support regional revenue growth
  • Develop existing corporate clients and increase product penetration and wallet share
  • Manage a regional pipeline and support the onboarding of new clients
  • Provide insight and commentary on regional markets and businesses
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Markets, Payments and Trade Finance teams
  • Support regional client events and provide Markets product training to Relationship Managers
  • Hand new relationships over to the relevant execution teams

Candidate profile

  • Experience in corporate sales within Commercial, Corporate or Institutional Banking
  • Strong understanding of FX products, including spot, forwards, swaps and options
  • Knowledge of interest-rate derivatives
  • A consultative approach to sales, with strong commercial judgement and business-development skills
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and building trusted client relationships
  • Strong analytical, organisational and presentation skills
