As an Associate Director at Linesight, you will lead highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead the provision of commercial management and cost management services across major infrastructure commissions, manage strategic client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our Infrastructure business. Working across transport, rail, roads, water, utilities, energy, ports and public infrastructure projects, you will provide commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle and act as a recognised specialist in the administration of GCCC and NEC contracts.

The role is focused on the provision of client side commercial and cost management, primarily on GCCC and NEC projects, helping clients manage project costs, commercial risk, procurement and change control.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious commercial leader to influence some of Ireland's most significant infrastructure investments while helping develop our people, client relationships and market presence.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key infrastructure clients
  • Develop and maintain trusted long-term client relationships
  • Provide strategic commercial, procurement and contract advice
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth
  • Lead the provision of commercial management and cost management services across major infrastructure projects and programmes
  • Oversee cost planning, estimating, procurement and commercial management services
  • Review and assure key commercial deliverables
  • Lead commercial risk identification and mitigation activities
  • Monitor financial performance and profitability across commissions.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Are a Chartered member of the SCSI, RICS or equivalent professional body
  • Have a minimum 10-15 years experience in quantity surveyng, commercial management or cost management
  • Have significant experience delivering major infrastructure projects and programmes
  • Extensive experience leading commercial management teams on major infrastructure projects
  • Have extensive experience providing client-side commercial and cost management services
  • Have strong expertise in GCCC and NEC contract administration and commercial management
  • Have experience advising clients on commercial strategy, procurement, compensation events, forecasting and commercial risk
  • Have experience managing the commercial aspects of infrastructure projects rather than undertaking project management or programme management roles
  • Have experience with CostX or equivalent software
  • Have experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software
  • Have experience providing advice and/or expert witness services to clients on claims for time and/or money under various dispute resolution forums.
