Our client, a leading Lloyd's Broker, has a proven track record of providing innovative insurance and (re)insurance solutions to their valued clients, and is prided as a key player within the London Market Insurance.

A new position has now arisen within the company's successful Credit & Political Risks Division, as an Associate Director, in an all-round dual Account Executive and Broker position.

This exciting opportunity consists of managing and developing a portfolio of Structured Credit Risks on behalf of Global Banks (Financial Institutions), providing expert advice and delivering exceptional client service, maintaining strong insurer relationships, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of Structured Credit Risks.
  • Arrange and negotiate placements with Lloyd's and company market insurers.
  • Prepare market submissions, obtain competitive terms and present recommendations to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/banks and underwriters.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and support account growth.
  • Ensure renewals, policy administration and client servicing are delivered efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulations, Lloyd's requirements and internal procedures.
  • Keep abreast of market developments and provide technical advice where required.
  • Working closely with divisional leaders.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 3 years + of experience within a Lloyd's broker or London Market environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Credit Risks Insurance on behalf of Banks.
  • Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • DIP or ACII qualified or working towards qualification (desirable).
  • Client-focused and commercially driven.
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator.
  • Proactive, organised and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with a professional and collaborative approach.
