The Role
We are looking for a culturally connected, strategically minded and results orientated Senior Account Director or Associate Director to join us for 12 months. We’re open to both a 4 and a 5 day week, with 3 days based with us at 1 Stephen Street, London.
The ideal colleague will come armed with big consumer brand experience ready to work across a likely account mix that transgresses luxury through to FMCG brands. We need a motivated leader with experience of inspiring teams to deliver fame-making campaigns that deliver impact in earned and social, with strong publicity, influencer, comms and events credentials.
They should be brilliant with clients, comfortable operating globally, and able to create work that appeals to Gen Z audiences and excites both clients and agency staff. We want someone with the charm, smarts, counsel and proactivity to manage senior clients, large agency teams and form part of the senior team within consumer brands at Freuds.

Responsibilities
- Lead earned-first, integrated communications strategies across culture-led consumer and luxury brands, confidently articulating the role of earned, influencer, social and media.
- Manage client briefs end to end, from strategy and creative development through to presentation, delivery and measurement.
- Act as a trusted day-to-day and senior client lead, bringing strong judgement, pace and confidence across retained accounts, major moments and global activations.
- Lead six-figure campaigns and motivate teams to deliver high-quality work on time, on budget and above expectation.
- Build strong internal and external networks across journalists, creators, influencers, talent and partners.
- Line-manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and helping create a collaborative, high-energy team culture.

Experience
- SAD or Associate Director level experience in consumer, culture-led and/or luxury brand communications, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong publicity, influencer, comms and events experience, with a clear point of view on earned media and the evolving media landscape.
- Seasoned client handler, confident advising senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships globally.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing fast-paced workstreams and delivering standout consumer brand campaigns.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
