About the Role

In the finance and corporate occupier sectors, we are working with a range of clients to develop AI adoption strategies, and collaborate with them to support the development, procurement and deployment of AI use cases in capital delivery, major programmes and portfolio management.

We are seeking an exceptional, senior AI professional to lead this transformation for some of our key clients. You will own AI use-case strategy and enterprise change across capital delivery and infrastructure functions which involves mapping and re-engineering processes, deploying proven AI tools, and scoping and shaping bespoke solutions that create lasting value.

You will have the opportunity to be a trusted advisory for some of the world’s most forward-thinking clients and lead the delivery of complex and high-profile AI adoption programmes. You will operate and engage clients at an executive level, build and lead multidisciplinary teams, and bring clarity, pace and confidence to environments defined by ambiguity and rapid change.

This is a defining role for an ambitious leader who wants to shape a fast-growing capability. Success will be measured through client impact, revenue growth and Turner & Townsend's reputation as a leader in AI-enabled transformation in the Infrastructure market.

Key Commercial Responsibilities

  • Grow our AI transformation business
    • Develop and grow AI advisory and transformation services across the finance and corporate occupier sectors.
    • Shape the go-to-market strategy for AI across capital delivery and Infrastructure functions.
    • Take accountability for commercial performance, proposals, contracts, bids and delivery margin.
    • Provide market intelligence and demand forecasting to guide investment and hiring.
  • Build strategic client relationships
    • Establish trusted, executive-level relationships with senior client stakeholders.
    • Act as executive sponsor and trusted adviser on major AI opportunities and commissions.
    • Represent Turner & Townsend through conferences, industry groups and thought leadership.
  • Win new business
    • Lead strategic pursuits and major AI bids across target clients and sectors.
    • Develop compelling, differentiated value propositions grounded in measurable client outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to support clients with our wider digital services where there is a genuine potential to add value.

Key Technical Responsibilities

  • Lead AI transformation programmes
    • Lead the strategy, design and delivery of client AI transformation programmes end to end using and building on our existing frameworks.
    • Define AI roadmaps, operating models and business cases that link investment to value.
    • Bring structure, governance and pace to complex, multi-stakeholder change.
  • Map and transform business processes
    • Work with clients to map, challenge and redesign core capital delivery and infrastructure processes.
    • Identify high-value AI use cases and prioritise them against feasibility, risk and return.
    • Redesign ways of working so AI adoption is embedded, not bolted on.
  • Deploy AI tools and drive adoption
    • Lead the selection, deployment and scaling of AI tools across client organisations.
    • Ensure solutions are integrated, secure and fit for enterprise use.
    • Drive user adoption, capability building and measurable change.
  • Scope and shape bespoke AI solutions
    • Scope, specify and lead the development of custom AI solutions from a leadership perspective.
    • Translate client challenges into clear requirements for data, engineering and design teams.
    • Ensure solutions are commercially viable, scalable and aligned to client strategy.
  • Responsible AI, governance and assurance
    • Champion responsible, safe and well-governed AI across every engagement.
    • Advise clients on AI governance, risk, data and assurance frameworks.
    • Maintain technical excellence and provide senior assurance across all commissions.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary AI transformation teams.
  • Act as the senior point of coordination for AI opportunities, pursuits and commissions.
  • Support recruitment and talent development aligned to a fast-growing capability.
  • Mentor consultants and develop the next generation of AI change leaders.
  • Contribute to wider Infrastructure Digital leadership and business planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience and Attributes
    • Significant experience leading AI, digital or technology-enabled transformation programmes.
    • A strong track record advising senior executives and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
    • Deep understanding of AI use cases, tooling and delivery from process automation to generative and agentic AI.
    • Experience across capital delivery, Infrastructure or corporate functions (finance /major programmes an advantage).
    • Proven ability to combine commercial leadership with genuine technical credibility.
    • Resilience and composure, able to lead confidently through ambiguity, pressure and rapid change.
    • The ability to position, influence and collaborate as readily as to lead and direct.
    • A track record of leading teams and delivering measurable business change.
    • Excellent strategic thinking, communication and executive-level presence.
    • A record of growing revenue, building propositions and creating market opportunity.
