Oaklands Global has been exclusively engaged to identify an experienced Associate Director / Director for an exciting opportunity within an established UK advisory firm in London. We are looking to speak with senior Corporate Finance professionals who have strong experience within Special Situations M&A and a track record of successfully delivering complex transactions.
Our client is a highly regarded UK advisory firm with a strong reputation across Corporate Finance, Restructuring and Special Situations. The firm advises businesses and stakeholders on complex, often time-sensitive situations and is now looking to add a senior professional to its growing Corporate Finance team.
The Opportunity
You will take a senior role within the Corporate Finance team, leading transactions while developing trusted relationships with clients and contributing to the continued expansion of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of complex M&A mandates across both buy-side and sell-side engagements.
- Advising businesses and stakeholders through challenging or time-sensitive situations.
- Overseeing financial analysis, valuations, due diligence and transaction execution.
- Leading negotiations and coordinating with external advisers throughout the deal process.
- Developing existing client relationships and generating new opportunities.
- Providing leadership, guidance and development to junior members of the team.
- Contributing to the wider strategy and growth of the Corporate Finance offering.
About You
We are particularly interested in professionals with:
- Significant Corporate Finance and Special Situations M&A experience.
- A strong record of successfully executing and completing transactions.
- ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Excellent commercial, analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Strong client management and business development skills.
- Previous experience within an advisory or professional services environment.
- The confidence and experience to lead both transactions and teams.
