Associate Director (Electrical)

As an Associate Director (Electrical), you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and delivery of complex engineering projects across Black & White Engineering's expanding global portfolio. This position is ideal for an experienced electrical engineering leader who enjoys balancing technical oversight with client engagement, team development and strategic project delivery.

You'll work alongside some of the most respected specialists in the industry, supporting the design and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects while helping to drive technical standards, mentor engineering teams and strengthen client relationships. What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading electrical engineering design delivery across complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Providing technical leadership, design assurance and engineering guidance to project teams.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a senior technical point of contact.
  • Supporting project planning, resource coordination and delivery performance.
  • Reviewing designs, calculations and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Mentoring and developing engineers across the electrical discipline.
  • Contributing to business growth through project opportunities, client engagement and technical excellence.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience leading electrical design delivery within a consultancy or engineering environment.
  • Expertise in power distribution, critical systems and electrical infrastructure design.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience reviewing and assuring complex engineering designs and technical deliverables.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
