Role Overview
The Associate Director, Energy Consultant plays a key role within Savills Earth, supporting clients in achieving their energy, sustainability and net zero objectives through strategic energy infrastructure and grid connection advice. Working with a diverse client base that includes rural landowners, residential developers, commercial and industrial businesses, the role combines technical expertise, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement to deliver complex energy projects.
Focusing on advising clients on large-scale grid connection opportunities, including high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) projects, while navigating the evolving UK energy policy and regulatory landscape.
The successful candidate will lead technical and commercial assessments, prepare feasibility studies and option appraisals for renewable energy generation and storage solutions, and provide strategic recommendations that are technically viable and commercially attractive.
This role requires strong project management, communication and leadership skills, alongside a deep understanding of grid connections, energy markets and sustainability. The individual will contribute to team profitability, champion Savills’ values and help deliver innovative energy solutions that create long-term environmental and commercial value for clients.
