Community Pharmacy Wales (CPW) is the representative body for community pharmacy contractors in Wales. We work with Welsh Government, NHS Wales and partners across the health and social care system to support and develop community pharmacy services across Wales.
We are seeking an experienced governance professional to provide strategic leadership for CPW's corporate governance, democratic processes and compliance arrangements. The successful candidate will support the Board and committees, provide expert governance advice, and help ensure effective decision-making, transparency and organisational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Support Board and committee business, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Advise the Chief Executive, Chair and Board on governance best practice and risk.
- Maintain and develop governance policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Support member democracy, elections and declarations of interest.
- Lead governance aspects of records management and information handling.
- Work closely with Welsh Government, NHS Wales and other key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting Boards and committees.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and compliance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to draft high-quality reports, minutes and governance documentation.
- High levels of discretion, integrity and professionalism.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £75,716 per annum (pro rata)
- Permanent contract
- 21 hours per week (3 days per week)
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Tuesday office attendance required
- Travel across Wales as required
