Are you ready to lead, inspire and grow?

Are you looking for a role where you can combine commercial leadership, team development and strategic influence?

Do you want the opportunity to build your own legacy within a business backed by the strength of a global consultancy?

If you answered yes to the above questions, we want to hear from you!

The Role

We're looking for an Associate Director - CDM to head up our London Building and Construction Safety service and play a key role in its continued success.

There has never been a better time to join Pick Everard. Following our alignment with Artelia, we combine the heritage, culture and client relationships built over 150 years with the strength, investment and opportunities of a global consultancy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director or an ambitious Associate ready for the next step. You'll lead and grow our London Construction Safety team, taking ownership of commercial performance, business development and team growth across the region.

We're looking for a positive and inspiring leader who can develop a high-performing culture, support and mentor an established team, and drive future expansion. You'll work across prestigious frameworks and clients including the Houses of Parliament, Ministry of Justice, NHS Property Services, Thames Valley Police, and major retail and banking accounts.

More than just a leadership role, this is an opportunity to shape the future of our London Construction Safety team, influence strategic growth, and create a lasting legacy, with a clear pathway to leading the region's commercial and financial success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic, commercial and operational leadership of the regional CDM service, translating national objectives into successful regional delivery.
  • Driving commercial performance through ownership of the regional order book and pipeline, monitoring utilisation, project performance and recovery rates.
  • Leading resource planning and workload management to ensure efficient project delivery and effective team utilisation.
  • Developing and strengthening key client relationships, securing repeat business and supporting the growth of major frameworks and accounts.
  • Acting as the senior escalation point for technical, commercial and project delivery matters.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality, governance and technical assurance across all project outputs.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing Associates, Principal Consultants and Senior Consultants, while driving succession planning and capability growth.
  • Delivering the regional strategy in line with national objectives, supported by accurate commercial and operational reporting.
  • Supporting business development activities, contributing to bids and proposals, and identifying opportunities to win new work.
  • Championing continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
