Join KPMG as an Associate Director in Healthcare Advisory
You’ll be joining our team that supports the NHS as well as other healthcare and government organisations on driving value and in getting major transformation programmes approved and delivered.
With our position as a leading advisor to the NHS and other healthcare and government bodies, we are frequently approached to support the most complex and high-profile programmes. Joining our team will expose you to work on a range of high-profile assignments helping providers, commissioners and regulators address their most challenging issues.
KPMG is part of a global network of firms that through 16,000 colleagues brings creativity and insight to meeting our clients’ most critical challenges. With offices across the UK, we work with everyone from enterprises to national government bodies and major multinationals, in virtually every industry imaginable.
Our work is often complex, yet our vision is simple: to be the clear choice for our clients, for our people and for the communities we work in. Our purpose is to support the projects that improve the fabric of our nation, and other nations around the world trying to improve the economic functioning and social wellbeing of their society. We have a focus on innovation and answers rather than just relying on a fixed methodology and this is supported by our diverse team, in terms of background and skillsets.
The Role
This is a client-facing leadership role focused on product development alongside analytics and modelling to support strategic decision-making, service transformation and investment decisions across healthcare organisations. There are also broader opportunities to deliver across government over time. The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical oversight of approaches while leading teams responsible for model development and analysis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
