Associate Director – Homeworking

Auria Travel | Remote, UK | Competitive Salary + Bonus

Ready to take the next big step in your travel career?

Auria Travel is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Associate Director – Homeworking to lead the next chapter of our homeworking division.

This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, independent, and recognised travel brand at a genuinely exciting point in our journey.

Our community of self-employed Travel Partners is growing, and we want to make sure that as we scale, we continue to deliver the personal support, commercial guidance, and sense of partnership that sits at the heart of Auria Travel.

That's where you come in.

The opportunity

As Associate Director – Homeworking, you'll take day-to-day leadership of our homeworking division, supporting our existing Travel Partners while helping us attract, develop, and grow the next generation of successful travel businesses within Auria Travel.

You'll work closely with the Directors and wider team, with the opportunity to influence the future direction of the division rather than simply stepping into a predefined role.

Your remit will include:

  • Leading, supporting, and developing our growing community of Travel Partners
  • Building strong individual relationships and understanding what each Partner needs to succeed
  • Driving sales performance, productivity, and commercial growth
  • Developing coaching, training, and business development initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of new Travel Partners
  • Helping shape our homeworking proposition as the division continues to evolve
  • Working with supplier partners to create training, incentives, events, and commercial opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the overall Travel Partner experience
  • Representing Auria Travel at industry events, conferences, supplier functions, and overseas trips
  • Working alongside our marketing team to support recruitment and sales activity
  • Helping us build a homeworking business recognised for both its growth and the quality of support it provides

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we're looking for

Direct experience of the UK travel homeworking sector is essential.

You'll understand what makes a successful homeworking business because you've worked directly within this part of the industry. You'll also have previous experience of managing, leading, or developing a team.

You may already be working in a senior homeworking role, or perhaps you're currently a Business Development Manager or Business Development Executive and feel ready for the next step.

We're interested in potential as much as job titles.

You'll be commercially minded, people-focused, and comfortable switching between strategy and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen. You'll understand that great business development isn't simply about targets. It's about relationships, coaching, confidence, and helping people build businesses they're proud of.

We're looking for someone with energy, ideas, and ambition who wants to grow alongside us.
