It's about recognising everyone's contributions equally while delivering excellence together.

Flexible and remote working are central to our culture, so talk to us about what's important to you, from reduced weeks to buying more leave, and how we can make reasonable adjustments for you or support your ambitions outside of work.

As an Associate Director within our Procurement Team, you'll be responsible for delivering work driven by excellence - and doing the right thing. We have a reputation for working on some of the UK's most high-profile commissions across a wide range of projects and sectors, including infrastructure, education, corporate real estate, retail, residential, aviation, and healthcare. As well as building long-term, sustainable relationships with key clients, you'll also be a catalyst for your colleagues' career progression.

Your role

We are seeking a highly motivated and highly experienced Associate Director to help us lead our team of Procurement Consultants within the London Commercial and Procurement team.

You will lead procurement best practice, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and lead procurements within the client organisation to enhance their procurement and commercial capability.

From shaping procurement strategies and leading sourcing activities through to supplier relationship management, you will help clients achieve maximum value from their supply chain ecosystem while delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.

Working with clients across the public and private sector, you will use your skills – technical and others - to share your knowledge, expertise, and experience, and ultimately to deliver fantastic services.

You will work collaboratively with our clients and their supply chain partners to develop/deliver solutions to complex and dynamic problems.

About you

  • Experience in industry standard contract forms such as NEC, JTC or FIDIC and developing bespoke contracts with the ability to understand and advise on contractual and commercial risks.
  • Highly experienced in a wide range of end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities, with the ability to advise or deliver complex procurements across client strategic projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in supporting clients achieving procurement objectives, improving commercial outcomes and enhancing organisational procurement capability.
  • Experienced in leading business development activities, including client relationship management, opportunity identification, proposal development, bid writing and supporting the growth of client relationships.

  • Possesses strong communication, engagement and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build consensus across complex stakeholder environments. Able to utilise a range of communication and engagement tools to support effective decision making and organisational buy-in at a senior level.
  • Lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams by promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • A proactive and growth-orientated mindset with a commitment to continuous professional development, technical excellence and delivering high quality outcomes for clients whilst representing the AtkinsRéalis brand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
