Private Credit Fund | London
A European private credit platform is seeking an experienced Leveraged Finance Execution professional to join its growing investment team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex transactions from origination through to close, leading deal execution while working alongside senior investment professionals on sponsor-backed financings across the European mid-market.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in executing new investments, acting as the day-to-day lead on transactions and managing all aspects of the deal process. You will work closely with private equity sponsors, management teams, advisors, and legal counsel, taking responsibility for driving transactions to completion while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of leveraged buyout, refinancing, and recapitalisation transactions.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end deal process, from term sheet through to funding.
- Manage financial analysis, valuation, capital structures, and downside risk assessment.
- Prepare and present investment committee papers and recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial terms alongside sponsors, borrowers, and advisors.
- Coordinate legal documentation and due diligence workstreams.
- Lead external advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction execution.
- Support portfolio monitoring where required and contribute to value creation initiatives.
- Mentor Analysts and Associates whilst helping shape best practice across the investment team.

Candidate Profile
- 6-10+ years' experience within Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Direct Lending, or Private Credit.
- Strong transaction execution experience gained within an investment bank, debt fund, or alternative credit platform.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex leveraged finance transactions.
- Excellent financial modelling, credit analysis, and structuring skills.
- Experience presenting investment opportunities to senior decision-makers or Investment Committees.
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong academic background with exceptional attention to detail.
