With a strong pipeline of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), Developments of National Significance (DNS), and major planning applications, this is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping nationally important projects while helping to grow and develop an established team.
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience of large-scale linear infrastructure projects, including overhead power lines, electricity transmission, grid infrastructure, pipelines, highways, rail or other major utility schemes.
The Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you'll act as EIA Lead on complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with major developers, utility providers, renewable energy organisations and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Environmental Impact Assessments for major infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
- Act as the primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage multidisciplinary technical teams and coordinate specialist environmental inputs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
