Drive global manufacturing partnerships. Shape supply excellence. Help improve animal health worldwide.

At Dechra, we're proud to be a global leader in veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal nutrition, dedicated to developing, manufacturing and delivering high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians. With nearly 2,000 colleagues worldwide, our values of Dedication, Enjoyment, Courage, Honesty, Relationships and Ambition are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for a Virtual Plant Manager to join our External Manufacturing Network team. This is a unique opportunity to act as the operational lead for key Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), driving performance, strengthening partnerships and ensuring the compliant, reliable supply of products across our global network.

What you'll do

As the primary interface between Dechra and assigned animal nutrition or Pharma CMO manufacturing partners, you'll:

  • Lead cross-functional site-focused teams across Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Operations and Procurement
  • Drive operational performance, supply reliability and continuous improvement
  • Oversee accuracy of forecasting, demand planning, purchase orders and capacity planning activities
  • Lead business reviews and KPI performance discussions with manufacturing partners
  • Identify and mitigate supply, quality and operational risks
  • Oversee budget planning, forecasting and financial reviews for assigned partners
  • Support strategic initiatives including new product launches, supplier selection, technology transfers and capital projects
  • Ensure contractual commitments are met while building strong, collaborative relationships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
