Associate Director of Financial Reporting

Key Requirements
- Strong management and leadership experience, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team.
- Significant experience across financial reporting, technical accounting, audit and regulatory returns.
- Strong tax experience, including VAT and corporation tax.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Experience within a large, complex organisation; education, public sector or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous.
Role Highlights
- Lead and develop the financial reporting team, shaping its future direction and supporting wider Finance Department objectives.
- Oversee financial accounting, balance sheet control, statutory reporting and year-end processes.
- Manage external audit and key tax compliance requirements.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to finance strategy, policy and planning.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing insight and supporting effective decision-making.
