PHD EMEA Business Unit, part of Omnicom Media (OM), is seeking an Associate Director, Brand to join our central Digital Activation team. Our clients rely on us for superior media strategy, deep insights, and flawless execution of their digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal if you:

We assist our clients in utilizing data from digital biddable channels to transform critical audience insights into action, propelling our clients’ businesses forward. Our Digital Marketing services encompass Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid Social, SEO, Display/Behavioural Targeting, Mobile Marketing, eComm search optimization, and more.

This role combines strategic leadership, activation expertise, and stakeholder management to maintain search as a growth engine within the broader performance ecosystem. It sits at Tier 1 of the Hub capability framework, which includes strategic ownership of the channel, senior client relationship management on search, escalation authority, and accountability for the outcomes of the function, not just individual output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports into the Performance Lead.
- Works alongside the Social and Programmatic Channel Leads.
- Represents search on the Biddable Steering Committee.
- Leads the Pod Leads, Managers, and core buying team responsible for day-to-day activation.
- Receives support from Audience Insights and Operations, Data, Analytics and Reporting, and Media Operations, Platforms and Governance.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in Paid Search planning and activation.
- Experience with biddable performance-focused campaign planning and activation.
- Expertise in shopping, Text, and other inventory delivered through Google Ads.
- Expertise in catalogue feed management.
- Demonstrates passion and knowledge of 3rd party tracking & technologies.
- Team Management experience and a passion for developing people.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage challenges of various clients and market interests in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Excellent numerical skills and confidence analyzing data using Excel.
- Proactive self-starter.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Responsive to feedback.
- Strong spoken and written English. Ability to speak other European languages is a bonus.

Work Policy: Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
