About The Role

As an Associate Director, Pipeline Intelligence and Reporting, you will manage and enhance project and pipeline data, reporting, and analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making across Novartis Development. The role ensures accurate, consistent, and accessible data; translates complex analyses into clear business implications and recommendations; and partners across functions to monitor performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and continuously improve reporting and portfolio outcomes. Success requires strong analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, senior stakeholder management, and the ability to independently drive alignment and initiatives without direct authority. Deep Therapeutic Area expertise is beneficial but not essential; the ability to apply strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and to rapidly learn and apply knowledge in new contexts will be of critical importance.

Major Accountabilities

  • Develop, deliver, and continuously improve pipeline reports and analytics that provide actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Manage project and pipeline data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and effective integration across relevant systems.
  • Apply quality controls and harmonize data standards and reporting frameworks in line with approved processes, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Track key performance indicators, benchmark performance, and identify emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and business questions.
  • Analyse complex data and translate findings into clear implications, recommendations, and actionable next steps for leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional and senior stakeholders to align priorities, incorporate feedback, and influence reporting and analytics outcomes without direct authority.
  • Provide timely ad hoc analytical and reporting support for senior management and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Independently apply structured problem-solving, external best practices, and innovative approaches to improve analytics, reporting, and business processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
