Planning Lead – London
£60,000 - £70,000
Are you ready to take the next step in your planning career and help deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure and development projects?
We’re looking for an experienced Planning Lead to join a forward-thinking Environment and Planning team in London. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable outcomes, leading complex projects, and working alongside experts across planning, engineering, environment, and design.
You’ll be trusted to make an impact from day one — leading planning strategy, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and helping clients navigate some of the most challenging projects in a rapidly changing world.

What you’ll be doing:
- Taking the lead on planning delivery for major infrastructure and development projects.
- Driving the coordination of EIA, environmental planning, and consenting activities.
- Influencing project outcomes through strategic advice and technical leadership.
- Building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.
- Leading bids, proposals, and opportunities that shape the future pipeline.
- Supporting and mentoring talented colleagues as the team continues to grow.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience delivering major infrastructure projects and complex planning applications.
- A solid understanding of planning policy, EIA, and environmental consenting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing successful project delivery.
- The confidence to engage with clients, stakeholders, and technical specialists.
- A passion for creating sustainable solutions with real-world impact.
