The Opportunity
This role is the principal point of contact for our Prime Finance hedge fund client base, acting as the entry point into HSBC for post-execution escalation queries across products. You’ll help protect and grow our Prime Finance platform by delivering an excellent client service experience and strengthening day-to-day relationships with senior stakeholders at clients and across HSBC. The work is fast-paced and highly connected - partnering with teams including Sales, Credit, Legal, IT, Operations, Trading, and Global Markets execution. Success means timely and accurate resolution of client requests, strong client feedback, and a service model that supports retention, cross-selling, and sustainable growth. You’ll also play an active role in improving processes and contributing ideas that enhance the platform and client experience. Alongside service delivery, you’ll support fair outcomes for customers and the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the principal point of contact for hedge fund clients for post-execution queries across Prime Finance and Global Markets products
- Escalation point for the resolution of client queries across areas including corporate actions, margin, stock loan, trade settlement, and cash
- Gather and understand client requirements to help drive internal prioritization and delivery of product offering enhancements
- Have a deep understanding of client strategy and products traded to try and identify potential areas of incremental business
- Coordinate internal partners across Sales, Credit, Legal, IT, Operations, Trading, and Global Markets execution teams to deliver timely outcomes
- Build strong client relationships to understand current and future service requirements and support retention and growth
- Facilitate regular client service reviews and use feedback to improve service delivery
- Create and maintain accurate client account plans, documenting relationship status and opportunities to expand products and revenues
- Identify process improvements and implement procedures that support smooth day-to-day running of the business
- Act as a client advocate within HSBC, escalating issues appropriately and proposing efficient solutions

What We're Looking For
- Previous work experience within a large financial institution within a focus on Prime Finance business client-facing role
- Demonstrate proven experience handling post-execution client servicing and resolving complex queries across products
- Show a detailed understanding of Prime products, workflows, and platforms and basic market nuances
- Evidence the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Credit, Legal, IT, Operations, Trading, and Global Markets execution teams
- Historical evidence of being able to identify organic opportunities through deep client intensity and understanding and connect to subject matter experts
- Apply sound judgment when identifying unusual or unacceptable activity or behaviors and escalating appropriately
- Maintain a strong focus on client confidentiality and the wider impact on HSBC’s reputation
- Deliver timely and accurate turnaround of client-related requests, balancing service quality with pace
- Work effectively across business units and locations, supporting collaboration across the Prime Finance business and broader Global Markets

Building Prime Finance Relationships
If you want your work in a growing, focus business area and be visible in the day-to-day experience of sophisticated hedge fund clients, this role offers real scope to make an impact. You’ll sit at the center of a broad internal network and use it to resolve issues quickly, improve processes, and strengthen relationships that protect and grow market share. You’ll also help identify opportunities to expand product adoption and revenue through a consistently high standard of service.
