It's an opportunity to become a key part of one of the UK's leading healthcare consultancies, helping shape the future of Programme and Project Management while delivering projects that have a lasting impact on healthcare environments and patient outcomes.
We're looking for an experienced Project Management leader who combines outstanding technical delivery with the commercial mindset to grow client relationships, win new business and develop a high-performing team.
You'll already have an excellent reputation for delivering complex capital projects, but equally importantly, you'll enjoy building trusted relationships, developing people and identifying opportunities to expand existing client accounts.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence the growth of a business not simply deliver projects this is an exceptional opportunity.
The Opportunity
As an Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our Programme and Project Management team across the Midlands.
You'll lead the successful delivery of major healthcare programmes while helping shape the future direction of the business through client development, work winning, strategic account management and mentoring the next generation of Project Managers.
This is a leadership position where you'll have genuine autonomy, significant client exposure and the opportunity to influence both operational performance and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Programme Leadership
- Lead complex healthcare capital projects and programmes from inception through to completion.
- Provide strategic Programme and Project Management advice to public and private sector clients.
- Lead multidisciplinary consultant teams across major healthcare developments.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to the highest technical standards.
- Provide governance, programme reporting and senior stakeholder management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive-level client teams.
Client Management
- Develop long-term relationships with NHS organisations, private healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
- Become the trusted partner for existing clients by delivering exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and secure repeat business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
