Our client is a leading independent construction and property consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality project management, cost management and advisory services across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of major developments, they are seeking an experienced Associate Director Project Manager to join their established team and help lead the successful delivery of complex projects across a range of sectors.

Your New Role

As an Associate Director Project Manager, you will take a leading role in delivering construction projects from inception through to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing project teams
  • Overseeing programme and budget performance
  • Mitigating risks
  • Maintaining strong client relationships

In addition to project delivery responsibilities, you will support business development activities, contribute to team leadership and mentoring, and play an active role in the strategic growth of the project management division. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior project manager looking to step into a leadership role within a well-respected consultancy.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Significant experience in construction project management within a consultancy environment
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects across the full project lifecycle
  • Degree qualified in a construction, engineering, surveying or related discipline
  • Chartered status with RICS, CIOB, APM or an equivalent professional body
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities
  • A proactive approach to identifying and developing business opportunities
