Associate Director - Public Sector Research
Mixed methodology research
Location: London, hybrid
Salary: up to £55,000

We are working with a leading insight consultancy, who help organisations make confident decisions through a combination of research, data, analytics and strategic insight. They work across complex challenges where understanding people, audiences and wider social trends can make a real difference.
The role
We’re looking for an Associate Director with public sector research experience to work with clients across government, local authorities, charities, regulators and industry bodies.
- Lead research and insight projects from start to finish
- Help clients understand audiences, navigate policy and social issues, and make better-informed decisions
- Work across qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, stakeholder insight, and communications strategy

About you
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research experience
- Experience working with public sector or policy-related challenges
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and client management skills
- Experience leading projects and managing junior team members
- A track record in business development and public sector tendering
- Understanding of campaign evaluation, consultation, and/or evaluation
- A genuine interest in social and public policy issues and creating real-world impact
