Skills And Competencies
- 7+ years’ experience in a relevant B2B sales role, with proven track record of achieving target
- Combination of public sector sales experience, as well as software-as-a-service solutions.
- Experience selling into Government and Public sector markets is highly desirable
- Experience in selling data or software solutions and services within a multi-stakeholder, complex sales cycle environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and expanding trusted customer relationships
- Possess a proactive approach to problem solving, actively seeking opportunities for improvement with solutions in mind
- Strong business acumen, results-driven mindset, and ability to clearly develop, articulate, and present concepts to clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with a strong understanding of Agentic AI. Hands-on experience using and pitching AI workflows is highly desirable

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field is required
- Fluency in English and a Nordic or Baltic language is highly preferred
Responsibilities
We are seeking a results-driven Relationship Manager for the Nordic and Baltics Defence & Security sector to enhance Europe’s prosperity and security. The role involves account management, sales, opportunity identification, and delivering solutions such as global entity analysis, cyber risk, and climate scenarios. The ideal candidate will address customer needs, leverage Moody’s tools and partnerships, and collaborate internally on RFPs to meet goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and driving new business opportunities with potential targets in the Defence & Security sector
- Maintaining a pipeline of meetings, presentations and proposals in the Government & Public sector
- Managing and supporting existing clients to generate and close new product and solution service sales
- Understanding existing and prospective clients’ projects and support needs, strategic objectives, purchasing criteria, political and other influences or constraints and decision-making processes
- Presentation of solutions to existing and prospective clients throughout a consultative sales process
- Liaising with Moody’s Leadership to help local implementation of the government strategy
- Attendance at industry trade shows, events and seminars (where appropriate)
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with relevant industry influencers and promoting partner engagements and creating broader networks within the Government & Public sector
- Working alongside the pre-sales and service delivery team and assisting with the delivery and execution of large enterprise-wide solution sales

In the Government segment, we support public sector organizations with solutions that enhance transparency, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
