About PPRO

At PPRO, we simplify access to local payments - providing a local payments platform that empowers giants like PayPal, Stripe, and Microsoft to connect with billions of consumers worldwide. We are on an ambitious, fast-paced mission to 3x our growth by 2028 - and we’re just getting started.

Our magic lies in our team of proud payments nerds. Spanning over 50 nationalities across 10+ global locations, our diverse cultures aren't a checklist; they are the competitive advantage driving our innovation. This is a people-first, high trust environment where you’ll have the autonomy to make a massive impact, own your work end-to-end, and grow through broad exposure, meaningful challenges, and continuous learning. We get things done, challenge respectfully, put the customer first, and recognise that our biggest successes are those we create as a team. If you’re ready to leave your footprint on global commerce, join us.

The Purpose

Our customers are already using us. Most of them aren't using everything they could. This role exists to change that.

You'll be our first Associate Director focused solely on global cross-sell, sitting inside Account Management and working across our full portfolio. There's no inherited playbook here: you're writing it. That means identifying where our broader payments and product suite solves problems customers haven't yet asked us to solve, and building the commercial motion to get those products adopted at scale.

This is a senior individual contributor role with real strategic ownership. If you want to build something from scratch and see the revenue outcomes land, this is it.

What you'll be doing

  • Build the framework for how we identify, prioritise, and pursue cross-sell opportunities across our global account base. Own the outcomes end to end.
  • Represent PPRO's full product ecosystem in senior client meetings, executive reviews, and commercial negotiations.
  • Use account analytics, transaction data, and market intelligence to find cross-sell targets and move quickly when the picture changes.
  • Align Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Regional Operations around shared account growth plans, without direct authority over any of them.
  • Share frameworks, deal learnings, and best practice with Account Managers to raise the commercial capability of the broader team.
  • Manage your portfolio with full ownership, knowing when to escalate and when to push through.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll need to bring

  • A track record of driving net-new revenue within existing enterprise accounts, not just winning new logos.
  • Experience in strategic sales, account management, or commercial partnerships in payments, fintech, or complex B2B environments.
  • Comfortable building structure in ambiguous situations. You don't need a process to exist before you can start.
  • Strong data instincts. You'll back your calls with numbers where they exist, and use sound judgement where they don't.
  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional, cross-regional teams at senior levels.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a genuine advantage given the global scope of the portfolio.

Why PPRO? Why now?

Cross-sell at global scale is a high-priority, newly formed motion at PPRO. As the first person in this function, you'll have real latitude to define how it works, what it looks like, and what it delivers. The cross-sell strategy, the stakeholder map, and the revenue outcomes are all yours to shape.

What's in it for you?

  • Hybrid working - We offer a hybrid structure with a 3 days / week on site expectation, so you can strike the balance between office and home working. • Learning and Development - We offer a GBP 500 annual budget to support your professional growth—because investing in your development benefits us all. In addition, we provide leadership cafés, on-the-job training, and other opportunities to help you grow your skills and thrive in your role.
  • Insurance - Because better safe than sorry - we want our employees to benefit from various insurances including a medical insurance (BUPA health care plan) and a 5% matching pension plan through Now Pensions.
  • Enhance Family Leave - We understand the importance of family - that's why we offer enhanced family leave to support you during key life moments.
  • Workplace Nursery Scheme - Save on childcare through salary exchange
  • Gym membership - PPRO helps contribute towards the costs of your gym membership, supporting your physical fitness journey while easing the burden on your wallet
  • Mental Health Platform - We’ve teamed up with a top well-being platform to provide one-on-one therapy, chat therapy, therapist-led courses, guided meditations, and more.
