Job details
As an Associate Director, you’ll typically be working on a variety of projects, such as high-rise residential buildings in London, leading the projects at a high level.
You will provide senior technical and project leadership across a diverse portfolio of developments, working closely with clients, design teams, and colleagues across the business to ensure high standards of technical delivery and service.

This is a strategic and client-facing role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys leading projects and teams, and is motivated by building strong client relationships and contributing to business growth.
This role can be based in any of our UK offices.
What you will do
- You’ll run projects through design information, liaising with other CHPK disciplines such as Facades, Building Safety, and Building Control, presenting designs to the design team, local authorities, BSR, and the Fire Service.
- Lead the team to advise the design team about what changes could be made to increase the safety of the building, provide QA, and sign off designs, FRAEW reports, and EWS1 forms.
- You will also be expected to develop business for the company.
Who you are
- You will have a BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Civil, Structural, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the UK.
- Experience of fire safety strategy consultancy from RIBA Stage 2 to 6, including fire statement and FRAEW.
- CEng qualification from the IFE (Institute of Fire Engineering)
- Be a member of IFE
