Associate Director - US/UK Private Client Tax

London | Hybrid Working

A leading international tax advisory practice is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its growing US/UK Private Client Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced US tax professional looking to work with a sophisticated portfolio of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, private investors, and internationally mobile clients. The role offers significant exposure to complex cross-border advisory work alongside leadership, business development, and people management responsibilities.

The Opportunity

Working as part of a well-established private client team, you will advise US-connected individuals and families on a broad range of US and UK tax matters. Clients include wealthy individuals relocating between jurisdictions, dual citizens, private investors, trustees, and business owners with international assets and income streams.

You will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing complex compliance engagements, and delivering bespoke planning advice across a variety of cross-border scenarios.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
