Associate Director / Director | Interim Finance | Private Equity | Base up to £150k
I'm partnering with a £10m revenue, PE-focused recruitment agency that is making a significant investment into its Interim Finance proposition.
Their Interim Finance desk has grown from c.£80k to £150k monthly revenue in just six months, with a target of £200k/month by year-end, and they're now looking for an experienced Interim Finance recruiter to help lead the next phase of that growth.
This isn't a cold build.
You'll be plugging into established PE fund and Operating Partner relationships, c.16 live interim assignments across Finance & Transformation, senior mandates typically at £1,200+ day rates, and an experienced team of proven recruiters.
One existing fund relationship alone is generating c.1 role per week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
But the proposition is still early enough that a senior hire can have genuine ownership with scope to build a team underneath you, potentially from as early as month three.

Prior PE experience is attractive, but the bigger thing is performance. If you’re already operating around the £250k–£650k+ level, want to continue billing but also have ambitions around leadership, ownership, and building a team down the line, this becomes particularly interesting.
They’re not looking to add headcount for the sake of it. They want high-quality recruiters who bring something additive to the platform, and for the right person, they’re prepared to invest.
If you’re performing well but want more white space, stronger infrastructure, and the opportunity to build within an established PE platform, get in touch.
