Full-Time, Permanent
(reporting to the Director, Capital Solutions)

ABOUT LENDABLE

Lendable connects emerging and frontier market companies with international and local investors so that they can in turn provide financial and sustainability services to those who need it the most: underbanked consumers and SMEs and MMEs in high-impact sectors. We have built the technical and financial infrastructure to increase access to credit in emerging and frontier markets, including a proprietary database of over 208m loans across 28 countries. To date, we have helped more than 6.2m people get access to fair finance and deployed over $900m of capital to companies across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As we continue to grow, we recently launched a new fund to provide sustainability-linked debt to fast-growing SMEs and MMEs across key sectors in emerging markets, focusing on the most impactful categories and highest-emitting industries.

We are based across Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, with major hubs in London and Nairobi. Our diverse team consists of investment professionals, data scientists, technologists, and people who care about supporting each other and our clients. We are passionate about creating a more equitable and sustainable world through data and finance. Come help us continue to grow!

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and relationship-driven Associate Director/Director to join Lendable’s Capital Solutions team and be accountable for growing Lendable’s investor base across Europe.

This role will have a strong focus on new investor origination and capital raising, with responsibility for identifying, developing and converting new relationships across institutional and private capital markets. The successful candidate will leverage their existing network while proactively building new relationships with prospective investors across key European markets.

The role will focus on investors including pension funds, insurers, family offices, wealth platforms, asset managers and other sophisticated private and institutional investors.

The primary objective is to generate new capital for Lendable’s investment strategies and contribute to the long-term growth of AUM across the firm. Acting as a senior representative of Lendable externally, the Director will own investor relationships through the fundraising process, working closely with senior leadership, Investment Solutions, Marketing, Legal and Operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality investor experience from initial engagement through to close.

Responsibilities

Capital Raising and Investor Origination

  • Develop and execute a targeted investor origination strategy across Europe, aligned with Lendable’s fundraising objectives.
  • Identify and build relationships with prospective institutional and private investors across priority European markets.
  • Leverage existing investor networks while proactively developing new relationships and sources of capital.
  • Originate and qualify new fundraising opportunities across Lendable’s fund and investment platform.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospective investors, managing opportunities through the full fundraising cycle.
  • Own investor relationships from initial introduction through engagement, due diligence, commitment and close.
  • Develop a deep understanding of investor mandates, allocation priorities and capital deployment objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce investors to the most relevant Lendable products and strategies.
  • Maintain visibility of pipeline activity, investor engagement and fundraising opportunities across the business.
  • Deliver against agreed fundraising and AUM growth objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
