Future Mechanical Director & Office Lead Succession Planning Opportunity | Edinburgh |

An established and highly regarded building services consultancy is seeking a commercially minded mechanical engineering leader to join its Edinburgh business as part of a long-term succession strategy.
Working alongside an experienced industry leader, you'll be mentored over the coming years while progressively taking on greater responsibility across team leadership, client development, business performance and operational management.
The long-term objective is clear: to become the future Mechanical Director and ultimately lead the Edinburgh office, taking responsibility for the continued growth, performance and strategic direction of the business.

Who We're Looking For
You could currently be:
- An Associate Director seeking a genuine pathway to business leadership
- An Associate ready to step into a board-level trajectory
- A commercially minded Principal Engineer with proven business development capability
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong mechanical building services consultancy experience
- An established client network within Scotland
- A track record of winning and developing business
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Chartered status or equivalent industry standing
