Associate – Financial Services Disputes, Belfast - Hybrid - NQ to 4 years PQE
Conekt Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit an Associate for its Disputes team in Belfast.
The opportunity
You'll join one of the UK's largest financial services litigation teams, with more than 100 people across several UK offices. The practice is top-ranked by the legal directories for financial services disputes outside London and acts for major banks, lenders, and commercial clients. The Belfast team supports the firm's retail mortgage and lending clients. It offers the chance to build a strong contentious practice within a national team, with clear progression and a collaborative culture.

What you'll be doing
- Running your own varied caseload of disputes for key financial services and commercial clients
- Giving strategic, commercially focused advice on a range of claims, working closely with senior members of the team
- Getting involved in business development, building relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Working with colleagues across the firm's UK offices
What you'll bring
- Qualified solicitor with 1–4 years' PQE (newly qualified solicitors also welcome), with litigation and/or property experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Self-motivated, able to manage your own workload and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
- An ambitious team player who enjoys supporting senior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team
