Job Title: Associate Driver
Location: Various Locations
Work Pattern: Full Time
Summary of Role
We are looking for a professional and dependable Transport Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection, transportation, and delivery of products, materials, and medical samples. You will play a vital role in maintaining service excellence by ensuring shipments are handled, documented, and delivered in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled collection and delivery activities in line with service requirements.
- Verify shipment details and obtain proof of delivery documentation.
- Transport products and medical samples safely and securely.
- Follow designated routes and temperature-controlled transport requirements where applicable.
- Communicate delivery progress, delays, and shipment exceptions promptly.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labelling activities.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance requirements.
- Assist with specialist transport services, including airport, transfer-point, and hand-to-hand deliveries.

Skills and Knowledge
- Valid UK driving licence with a strong safety record.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to accurately complete transport documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Understanding of road safety and transportation regulations.
- Reliable and professional approach to work.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a transport, courier, or delivery role.
- Experience handling healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical products.
- Knowledge of temperature-controlled transportation requirements.
- Familiarity with proof of delivery systems and handheld devices.
- Understanding of logistics and route planning processes.
- Experience working within a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of shipment tracking systems.
- Experience supporting time-critical delivery operations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services, or a related field required.
- Certification in dangerous goods awareness, licensure in operation of the applicable vehicle class, cold chain handling, or equivalent required.
