Join us at this very exciting time as Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals have merged into the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. We have ambitious plans to develop our sites, making even better use of our combined resources to serve our population most effectively. Joining the teams at University Hospitals Dorset you will be taking up the many opportunities that Dorset has to offer in the way of a rewarding work life balance.

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the delivery of the site redevelopment scheme by delivering or supporting the delivery of individual projects and works packages. This will include supporting the design, tendering, liaison with consultants and contractors, agreeing standards (and ensuring they are met) and acceptance of work packages.

Responsibilities

The Associate Project Manager manages small to medium key projects within the Group portfolio, with responsibilities including the coordination and completion of projects on time, to scope and within budget. The Associate Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and reporting project progress. In your day-to-day role you will:

  • Ensure projects are delivered following the Change Delivery Framework
  • Ensure adequate governance is set up based on the project complexity level
  • Successful delivery of projects to time, budget, scope that can realise expected benefits
