Associate, European Direct Lending | London
We are partnered with a leading global credit platform on a confidential search for an Associate or Junior VP to join their European direct lending team in London.
Backed by strong institutional ownership and managing $20bn+ across funds, SMAs and CLOs, this business is expanding rapidly in Europe on the back of a differentiated sourcing model that drives a consistently strong pipeline of sponsor-backed middle market deals.
With a high volume of transactions already closed since launch, a debut fund closing shortly off the back of a strong raise, and a second fund on the horizon, it's a rare opportunity to join at an exceptional stage of growth with no ceiling.

Responsibilities:
- Drive deal execution across a busy pipeline of sponsor-backed middle market transactions
- Build and maintain detailed financial models
- Conduct due diligence and underwriting on new investment opportunities
- Support ongoing portfolio management and monitoring
- Work closely with senior investment professionals on live deals, with a clear pathway to leading origination as the platform scales

Candidate specification:
- Strong experience in direct lending, leveraged finance, or private credit
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
- Prior experience at a private credit fund, direct lending shop, or investment bank
- Nordic, Benelux or DACH language skills highly valued - core to the European expansion and a route into origination leadership
