Opportunity

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to hire an Associate into our Corporate Functions and Technology team in London for The Omerta Group (a Kingsley Gate Company).

Associates work alongside our Partners and Consultants to generate research, candidate solutions, and competitive intelligence within specific verticals; to help deliver upon our client’s needs and objectives.

Team Overview

The Omerta Group’s Corporate Functions & Technology practice partners with financial services clients on senior leadership and C-Suite mandates across Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, and Human Resources.

Clients span investment banks, hedge funds, private equity, private credit, insurance, commodities, fintech, sovereign wealth funds, proprietary trading, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Research & Consulting - Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage end-to-end Executive Search processes
  • Data Management - Accurate capture and recording of information gathered from both primary and secondary sources
  • Market Intelligence - Sourcing information & intelligence around relevant industry trends and developments
  • Talent Identification - Sourcing and screening of existing and new senior candidates. Defining the universe of competitors and long-list of candidates for search mandates
  • Documentation - Responsibility for the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, proposals for new mandates, and face to face candidate meetings

Background/Qualifications

  • Consultative - Genuine interest to get into a Consulting style role working with people on a daily basis
  • Problem solving - Experience in being able to handle multiple competing priorities in a goal-orientated fashion, and able to meet tight deadlines & targets
  • Interpersonal skills - Ability to interact personably and confidently with clients and senior candidates
  • Networking - Eagerness to network & engage with senior individuals across financial services and related sectors
  • Attention to detail - Experience delivering research material & presentations to a high standard
  • Communication – Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree required
  • For Experienced Associates - track-record working within a competitive structure, such as a global executive search firm or contingent recruitment agency

  • Develop an extensive understanding of Corporate Functions and Technology across financial services, including how Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, and Human Resources teams operate across a wide range of client types
  • Experience from week one of end-to-end executive search & selection processes
  • Work with a variety of AI & research tools to automate business workflows alongside a market-leading proprietary CRM system
  • Direct daily engagement with senior financial services professionals – both clients and candidates
  • Project management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
  • Become part of a global group of associates & senior associates, leading initiatives across various engagement events & round table discussions
