My Client, a European bank in the City, seeks an Associate level FI Coverage banker, to support their wider FIG Business in London.
The role will involve supporting the more senior members of the team with a portfolio of FI clients across Banks, Insurers and Fund Finance.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Relationship Managers through the whole cycle of the client acquisition process, with a focus on FIG clients (banks, insurers, asset managers).
- During the deal execution flow, including lending, repo, fund finance, and other structured solutions.
- In liaising with other areas and departments to maximize the cross-sell achieved with the client (Treasury, Debt Capital Markets, Markets, etc.).

Candidate Requirements

- At least 2-4 years of experience in a junior coverage or product role within a corporate and investment banking environment, preferably with exposure to Financial Institutions Group (FIG) clients.
- Commercial and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of corporate banking and financial institutions products.
- Fundamental understanding of financial institutions analysis (balance sheet structure, capital and liquidity ratios is a plus).
