The Role

Glamour is looking for an Associate Fashion Editor to deliver relatable, stylish, and inspiring fashion and lifestyle content.

The role will be committed to empower women to have fun with style and understand new ways to dress and shop.

This role is a fixed term contract and reports to the Digital Director, Glamour.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the Digital Director and Senior Editors with driving Fashion content for the brand.
  • Pitch, write and edit fashion and style pieces for the website.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and cultural shifts to inform fresh, relevant content that resonates with Glamour’s audience.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with brands, PR agencies, and industry insiders to secure exclusives and innovative collaborations.
  • Monitor industry trends, social movements, and cultural conversations to keep Glamour’s content timely, authentic, and influential.
  • Drive audience engagement and growth by identifying new content opportunities.
  • Work closely with the commerce team to bring revenue-driving projects.
  • Work closely with social media, video, and SEO teams to translate style content across platforms.
  • Regularly appear in Glamour videos and create social media content.
  • Build an engaged audience and community around our fashion content.

About You

  • An excellent writer and editor, able to deliver clean, concise copy in a timely manner.
  • Experience producing social content, and comfortable featuring on camera.
  • A keen eye for emerging trends, with the ability to pitch innovative stories that connect with a young, diverse readership.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and social media strategies to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Strategic thinker who understands the relationship between style and audience engagement.
  • A collaborative working style, with excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of Glamour’s voice, ethos, and audience preferences.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
