Associate Founder - Foundium™
Foundium™ is at an early and formative stage. There is a clear mission, a small and dedicated team, and a great deal of worthwhile work ahead. There is also, by design, no fixed playbook, so the people who join now will have a real influence on how the organisation develops.
We are looking for Associate Founders: thoughtful, capable people who enjoy contributing to something from its foundations, and who care more about the outcome than the recognition.
This role will suit some people better than others. If you prefer a clearly defined scope and a predictable routine, many excellent organisations offer that. If you would welcome the chance to help establish an institution in its formative years, we would be glad to hear from you.
Your Role
The role is intentionally broad, spanning strategic, operational and organisational work, and it will grow alongside Foundium™.
You will:
- Undertake strategic research and analysis
- Support business and organisational development
- Lead communications and thought leadership initiatives
- Offer candid feedback on our product and platform
- Deliver projects and provide operational support
- Identify opportunities that strengthen the organisation, and help bring them forward
At the Forefront: Partnerships, Prospect Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement
This is one of the most visible and valued parts of the role.
Every meaningful relationship begins with a conversation. As an Associate Founder, you will often be the first person a prospect, partner or stakeholder meets at Foundium™.

You will:
- Identify and introduce Foundium™ to prospects, including institutions, commercial organisations, public sector bodies and individual decision-makers
- Cultivate relationships that grow into long-term, mutually valuable partnerships
- Lead institutional outreach and stakeholder engagement, from the first introduction through to an agreed next step
- Explain clearly and honestly why Foundium™ matters, so that early interest becomes lasting commitment
- Share what you learn with the wider team, so that market insight informs our direction

- Clear communicators, both in writing and in conversation
- Hands-on contributors, more interested in taking part than observing
