Associate, Fundraising Operations

Location: London

A leading Global Private Equity firm is seeking an Associate, Fundraising Operations to join a growing Fund Operations team within a global alternative investments environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain broad exposure to fund launches, investor onboarding, fund structures, KYC/AML, fundraising operations, and operational project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the establishment and ongoing administration of fund entities.
  • Coordinate fund documentation, regulatory filings, and key launch deliverables.
  • Support investor onboarding, including subscription processes and KYC/AML requirements.
  • Coordinate with administrators, transfer agents, counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track investor commitments, subscriptions, and fundraising data.
  • Support multiple fund launches and related operational projects.
  • Assist with side letters, investor agreements, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare operational reports, status updates, and management information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Support the implementation and testing of new tools and operational enhancements.

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in fund operations, fund administration, investor services, transfer agency, asset management operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with investor onboarding, account opening, KYC/AML, or fundraising operations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Private equity, private markets, or alternative investments.
  • Alternative investment fund structures and fundraising processes.
  • Investor onboarding or fund administration platforms.
  • Experience working with external administrators and service providers.
  • European fund structures and regulatory frameworks.
  • Operational change or process improvement projects.
